Barela Defense Group is a Marine Corps Veteran-Owned, Colorado-based firearms and accessories manufacturer specializing in precision-engineered AR-platform components and tactical accessories for the modern warrior.

Every product begins in-house — designed from the ground up in Autodesk Fusion 360, prototyped on-site, and built to exacting tolerances before a single unit ships. We don't source off-the-shelf and rebrand. We engineer.

Our composite accessories are manufactured from PA612-CF15 carbon fiber reinforced nylon and other high-strength, heat-tolerant engineering-grade materials — selected for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, dimensional stability, and resistance to moisture and thermal stress. This is the same class of high-performance polymer used in demanding aerospace and defense applications, and it gives our products a look and feel that sets them apart from anything injection-molded.

Our current product line includes M-LOK and Picatinny rail covers, handstops, foregrips, pistol grips, magazine end caps, and optic risers — all designed with precise interface geometry for a secure, rattle-free fit on any properly spec'd rail system.

Coming soon as BDG expands its manufacturing capabilities: CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum components with Type III hardcoat anodizing — the mil-spec finish trusted by professional operators for its hardness, corrosion resistance, and field durability — as well as optional Cerakote finishing for customers who want a seamless color match to their existing rifle.
